Some photographs from the wedding celebrations of Elliot and Simone, a lovely couple from Canada and Germany.

The official ceremony was at the Rathaus Bernau, and the reception and an open-air wedding ceremony were held in the garden of the beautiful Villa Biesenthal, a unique building renovated in a modern style but keeping its old stucco facade.

Elliot and Simone let me take them into the villa’s grounds for some portraits among the summer flowers and long grass, and also let me use my trusty Holga for some of the shots.

 

It was grand, a beautiful day in every way, and a privilege to be there to document these special moments for them among their friends and family.
